CHANGE OF DATE + PLACE

The Newly Forming Pottery Collective will now meet UPSTAIRS in the Hunger Mountain Food Co-op's Community Room from 5:30-7:00 on Tuesday October 29th

We have had such a robust response to our announcement of a few days ago, that we need more space!

This is our updated posting:

Central Vermont has long needed a place for people to make pottery, have access to firing and glazes, and some of the creative expertise of potters and other clay professionals in the area through classes and workshops and social interaction.

With this in mind, a newly forming Pottery Collective will meet
On Tuesday, October 29th at 5:30
UPSTAIRS at the Hunger Mountain Food Co-op's Community Room.

If you've ever wanted to take a pottery class, expand your repertoire with clay, or if you're a professional potter, sculptor, or artist looking for space to work or to teach--or just love supporting the arts in our community, we'd like to hear from you. Please send us a brief email telling us who you are, where you live, and what you'd like to see as this project develops. We will compile this information and stay in touch as the project develops.

If you'd like to be an ACTIVE PART of the organizing group please let us know.
Might you want to barter skills and/or equipment for membership and/ or classes?
Might you want a new venue to teach? Are you looking for a new place to work? A gallery for sales?
Are you looking for a local project in which to invest?

We'd love it if you could join us on Tuesday, October 29th at 5:00 UPSTAIRS in the
Hunger Mountain Food Co-op Community Room.

If you are coming from work or might need a snack, grocery items and meals can be purchased in the co-op and brought upstairs. (They request that no food be brought in.) Please leave extra time before the meeting to make your purchases, and extra time at the end to help us clean up. (We need to leave the room as we find it.)

We are looking forward to being acquainted, to hear your ideas, learn about your special skills and interest, and to discover which social and practical resources might be available to kick off this new Pottery Collective.

Please RSVP to Renée at 802-454-7303 (landline), or by email linked to this announcement
