Join us this Sunday, October 20th, at the Winooski Farmers Market for a special budget outreach event from 10 AM to 2 PM! The City Manager and Finance Director will be there to gather your input as we go into budgeting for the 2026 fiscal year.
We'll have community budget surveys available, and we're excited to offer an interactive activity where you get to decide how to spend $100 in play money representing your tax dollars across various key funding areas. Each area will be clearly labeled with descriptions and photos to make it easy to understand. This activity will give you a chance to see the challenge of balancing resources among essential departments and share your priorities in how you feel your tax dollars should be spent.
