Join us for an Inktober inspired Zine Workshop at Brainstorm Art Supply in Randolph, VT.

During this three-hour long workshop, students will learn how to carve blocks for printing, and will use those prints to produce their own zine. Zines are simple booklets that can be reproduced via a copy machine. Zines continue to grow in popularity and this workshop is a chance to join an ever-growing community.

We will be inspired by the annual "Inktober" challenge where artists aim to make one drawing per day throughout the month of October. In our case, we will be carving blocks in order to make our own stamp prints. This will be a great opportunity to learn and practice both printmaking and zine-making skills that are easy to recreate at home.

All materials for the class will be provided and you'll leave with several block prints, plus your own zine.
