Hello friends and neighbors,

I am sure most of you have participated in or at lease overheard talk about the Cambridge Community Center. It was about 30 years ago that a small group of Cambridge and Jeffersonville residents began working toward this end. We formed a non-profit organization, Cambridge 360, Inc., raised several hundred thousand dollars through grants and a community thrift store, and partnered with two incredibly generous local residents that bought, renovated, and developed the gem of a facility we currently enjoy.

After nearly 10 years of operation, the time has come for them to recover their interest free loan to the community. As such the Community Center will soon be sold. Cambridge 360, Inc would like to be the buyer and ensure that the facility remains a vital asset to our community. We need your help to make this happen.

We are roughly $50,000 short of the $300,000 down payment needed to secure the purchase. This is 50% of the sale price. These same philanthropic residents that purchased the property have generously agreed to allow Cambridge 360, Inc to pay off the remaining $300,000 over the next 5 years. We feel we have the potential partners and funding opportunities to succeed in this endeavor.

We even have an incredible matching donation offer on the table right now. Every dollar we raise toward this effort will be matched, up to $25,000. This gets us to our goal. But this must be achieved by the end of 2024 or the sale to Cambridge 360 will likely not happen.
