On Sunday, Oct. 20th, 2024, the Green Mountain Athletic Association (GMAA) will be holding the 53rd annual Champlain Islands Marathon/half marathon. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Folsom Track & Field team, as well as South Hero Rescue.
The race begins and ends at Folsom Educational Center. Please see the course map for the route (https://gmaa.run/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Champlain-Islands-Marathon-2024-map.pdf). South Street will be CLOSED from 8:15 - 9:00 AM for the start of both events.
