Burlington's Vermont International Film Festival will be premiering a film by Middlesex filmmaker Susan Bettmann. "Painting the Dandelion Resurrection" spotlights icon Peter Schumann, director of the Bread and Puppet Theater, painting a 2-bedsheet-size diptych backdrop in this 28-minute film.

The program includes Angelo Madsen Minax's 30-minute film "One Night at Babe's," about 2 divergent cultures coming together at a Bethel, VT dive bar.

Screenings are on Wednesday October 23 at 7:15 and Saturday October 26 at noon at the Main Street Landing Black Box Theater (Wednesday night) and Film House (Saturday).
