If they were, the Waterbury and Duxbury Historical Societies would like to hear from you. The Historical Societies are looking to identify current residents of Waterbury or Duxbury who are descended from families who were settled in Duxbury and Waterbury and listed in the 1800 census. The two societies are co-hosting a Remembrance Dinner on November 9, 2013 and will recognize those founding Father families who been here since 1800. If you have information on the family history of early settlers to the area we invite you to attend a meeting on Thursday August 29 at 6:30 pm at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 56 South Main Street.
