On Saturday, October 19, Ripton Fire & Rescue and Middlebury Regional EMS will host a 1.5 hour public training session on "How to Save a Life." During this session, you will learn Hands-Only CPR, How To Identify A Stroke and what to do, and How To Stop Severe Bleeding. These are three vital skills that anyone can learn, and quick action in these emergencies can make a huge difference for a friend or loved one.
The training will take place at the Ripton Fire & Rescue Station (corner of Dugway and Lincoln Roads) and will begin at 10:00 a.m. So, have some breakfast, drop off your recycling, and then come join us to learn these life-saving skills!
Please RSVP (so we can plan accordingly) to Mark Nelson at m.a.nelson@live.com.
