The Green Mountain Book Festival in Burlington is coming up November 1 & 2! There will be free literary programming--readings, panels, workshops, and other events--from 10 am-5:15 pm on Saturday, November 2, at the Fletcher Free Library. Then, join us for a free Lit Night at Muddy Waters from 5:30-9 featuring poetry readings by a number of VT poets, including VT Poet Laureate Bianca Stone, a tribute to Reuben Jackson, and more.

The Green Mountain Book Fest will also hold a fundraiser at the Venetian Soda Lounge in Burlington from 7-9 pm on Friday, November 1. There, Phoenix Books will give its first annual Lifetime Achievement Award to author Archer Mayor. There will be a silent auction, featuring donated products from local companies such as Product Think Tank and The Local, in addition to good wine, books, and many more great items and opportunities. There will be snacks and a cash bar available. The Soda Lounge also has great housemade sodas, mocktails, milkshakes, etc.
