Swinging can help all children develop strength, gross motor skills, balance and coordination. In addition, swinging can be calming, help regulate the nervous system and provide sensory stimulation. Above all, it is just fun and all children should have the opportunity to swing. To make that happen, the Heartland Lions Club is working to raise $3000 for the purchase and installation of a safe, accessible swing.
