The Museum of Everyday Life, in collaboration with the New Futures Project of the Flux Factory, is hosting visual artist Andrei Rudev for a three week residency. On Sunday October 20th at 5:00pm, Andrei will share his work, and talk about the changes he has experienced over the past 50 years, from his childhood during the Soviet years, to his experience of the opening up of Perestroika and the radical experimentation in the Russian art world of the late 1980s, to life in the current Russian Republic. What is the experience of Everyday Life as an artist in Russia today? How have these political shifts over the past decades impacted Russian cultural production?
Join us for a conversation with Andrei, share hors d'oeuvres and drinks, and see a sneak preview of two new works he has created during his residency, all in our new heated studio/event space.
The Museum of Everyday Life is located on Route 16 in Glover Vermont, just South of Glover Village.
