In the last year, more than 16,000 children have been killed and another 20,000 are missing in Gaza--more than all the children killed in wars across the whole world in the last 5 years.
On Saturday, October 19th at 6pm, a candlelight vigil will be held at the 4 corners in Bennington to remember and mourn these lost lives. All are welcome. Each attendee will be offered a sign to hold with the picture of a child who has been killed. Candles will also be provided. Would you like to grieve another child killed by war? Gazan, Israeli, Lebanese, Sudanese, Congolese? Please feel welcome to bring your own sign to hold!
Every child is precious and deserves to be remembered.
