Please join the Friends of Green River Reservoir for an exciting Film Event!

On Thursday October 24th, at 7pm. in the Lamoille Union HS auditorium, we will be hosting the first local showing of the newest documentary by renowned filmmaker Ian Sweet. The Friends of Green River Reservoir contributed to the making of this film and are excited to offer it to the public at this event.

"Green River Reservoir" is a beautifully filmed documentary about the Green River Reservoir, the jewel of the Vermont State Parks system, and a body of water teeming with wildlife and a unique recreational resource.
The film explores the history of the reservoir, current challenges, and how economics and climate change may affect its future.

Along with Ian Sweet, our guests include people interviewed for the film, including Eric Hanson of the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, Board Members of the FGRR, Wildlife Photographer Ron Kelley, Nick Caputo, Regional Park Manager for Vermont State Parks, former VT State Legislator Susan Bartlett, and more! There will be time for discussion with the filmmaker and guests, and a question-and-answer period.

Admission is free, and all are welcome!
