Lamoille County Star Gazers member Rita Ciambra will be giving a presentation about the Kitt Peak National Observatory, located in Arizona. Her talk will highlight the variety of telescopes at Kitt Peak and some of the cutting-edge research being done there. Rita will also explain how work being done at NOIRLab (the US National Science Foundation's National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory) will support the construction of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory currently being built in Chile.
