Back by popular demand, we are once again offering this eye opening workshop, led by South Royalton Market Food Co-op Board member, biologist and health coach, Cathy Lawson. Participants will be treated to a short lecture about the importance of and how to achieve a healthy and balanced microbiome in our digestive tract, which in turn keeps us healthy. Cathy will share her special recipes for lacto fermented foods such as sauerkraut and kimchi as well as offer samples for tasting.
Participants will also get to MAKE THEIR OWN FERMENT TO BRING HOME! If your health is important to you, then this peer-to-peer community learning opportunity is for you! We look forward to seeing you there!
Cost is $20 per adult. Mature youth are welcome with an adult. Register online at the given link.
This event is co-sponsored by the White River Valley High School and the South Royalton Market Food Coop (802) 763-2400.
