Back by popular demand, the 3rd Annual Parking Lot Dance Party and Picnic is this Saturday!
Come Eat, Listen, and Dance.
This is a FREE and family-friendly event to support JUMP.
4:00 pm Picnic
Sandwiches, chips, cookies and brownies and soft drinks for a relaxing fall afternoon picnic.
4:30 pm Swing Dance Demo / Lesson
Dancers from the Vermont Swings dance group will demonstrate and teach us a few basic dance steps.
5:00 pm Dance Party!
Green Mtn Swing is 17pc Jazz Band will get our feet moving at 5pm and we'll dance straight through the setting sun and into Vermont moonlit autumn evening.
Location: College Street Church Parking Lot, 265 College Street, Burlington VT (right next door to Fletcher Free Library).
Free will donations are invited to support JUMP (Joint Urban Ministry Project) which has provided practical assistance for our neighbors dealing with issues of homelessness and economic insecurity since 1988. JUMP helps with food, utilities, food, laundromat, thrift stores, transportation, and hospitality at our Outreach Center on Thursday and Friday mornings.
