Hello everyone,
I realize it's a bit of short notice (it's been a crazy summer!) but we are having a work day at the Vergennes Burying Ground this Saturday, from 11-2.

There is a lot of trimming that needs to be done, weeds to be pulled, and maybe some stray vines to be cut back. We also have a few stones that we can reset, to clean up from our last work day.

Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary! Bringing gloves, cordless trimmers, pruning shears, etc, would be helpful as well. Please click on the link and sign up if you are able to come. We will be serving a light lunch/snacks so it's super helpful to know how many to plan for.

St Peter's Cemetery is also doing a clean up the same day, starting at 8 am. You can start at St Peter's for a couple hours, then pop over to the VBG and make a day of it. It's going to be a perfect day to help preserve our local history!
