RAFT- recovery after floods team is having a volunteer meeting this Thursday from 6-730p. The meeting will be virtual.

We will discuss how the group will work, how we will assist our neighbors working through flood recovery and will talk about volunteer tasks that can be done. Please join if you are interested in helping out.
The concept of RAFT (Recovery After Floods Team) is to assist individuals and families impacted by flooding and other natural disasters and support resilience building in light of almost certain future disasters. We are forming a volunteer organization to help our communities to recover from the flooding events.
RAFT will be a volunteer-led non-profit organization to help residents and families build resilience and preparedness and make adaptations for the future.
We are currently working to serve Richmond, Huntington and Hinesburg. We are open to expanding to other communities depending on interest and need.
