The Montpelier Performing Arts Hub is hosting a 90-minute professional musical production of Ordinary Days by Adam Gwon on October 18th & 19th with special permission from Concord Theatricals. This is a two-night-only event that includes a Broadway-caliber production, an event bar, an in-person tour of our new flexible venue, and the opportunity to meet the creative team and cast following the performance. Tickets are limited so please reserve in advance!
For this production, we asked five New York City-based professional theater artists to share their talents with our Central Vermont community for the week. We are so grateful to them for giving us their time and talent and we are equally grateful to Greenway Institute and our local host families for providing welcoming places to stay during their visit.
Ordinary Days tells the story of four young New Yorkers whose lives intersect as they search for fulfillment, happiness, love and cabs. Through a score of vibrant and memorable songs, their experiences ring startlingly true to life. Ordinary Days is an original musical for anyone who's ever struggled to appreciate the simple things in a complex place. With equal doses of humor and poignancy, it celebrates how 8.3 million individual stories combine in unexpected ways to make New York City such a unique and extraordinary home.
