Lamoille County Star Gazers member Rita Ciambra will be giving a presentation about the Kitt Peak National Observatory, located in Arizona. Her talk will highlight the variety of telescopes at Kitt Peak and some of the cutting-edge research being done there. Rita will also explain how work being done at NOIRLab (the US National Science Foundation's National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory) will support the construction of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory currently being built in Chile with a primary telescope over 27 feet in diameter.

The presentation will take place at the Morrisville Centennial Library on Tuesday, October 15th, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
