THIS WEDNESDAY, 6-7:30 PM - an online webinar for Essex residents interested in learning more about exploration of a proposed women's correctional facility and reentry center in the Town. The forum is hosted by the neutral facilitator, the Essex Community Justice Center. There will be panelists participating from the VT Dept. of Corrections, So. Burlington Police (to speak about local impacts), and leaders from the Maine reentry facility (upon which the VT plan is based). This is your chance to ask questions and learn more ahead of an Essex Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 pm in the Essex High School cafeteria where public input will be received.
