This Tuesday from 8:30-10:00am, the Charlotte Grange will be collecting donations of kids' clothes, outerwear, footwear, and winter gear for the Charlotte Hand-Me-Downs project. Drop items off at the Grange Hall at 2858 Spear Street in Charlotte. We are especially seeking kids' winter gear so that we can provide each child a winter coat, snow pants, and boots in their size before the snowy season!

The Charlotte Hand-Me-Downs project is a program of the Charlotte Grange. Every spring and fall local families gather clothes their children or teenagers have outgrown and drop them at the Grange. Volunteers then sort the clothes by size and make a bag for each child served by the Charlotte Food Shelf. Any donations not needed by Charlotte families will be donated to community support organizations in neighboring towns.

Can't make it on Tuesday? No problem! There are weatherproof bins outside the Grange Hall for drop-offs at any time. We are also accepting donations of large reusable shopping bags to use in re-distributing the clothing.
