The Vermont Association of The Blind and Visually Impaired is sponsoring White Cane Day events on Tuesday, October 15th in two locations. Members of The Barre Lions Club and the Vermont Asian-American Club Branch of The Barre Lions Club are participating in this event and invite everyone to join them.

The Montpelier event begins at 9:30 on the State House Lawn and will travel down State and Main and will end at the DBVI Offices at The Capitol Plaza building. The Barre event will begin in the parking lot of Walgreens at 12:30 pm and travel down Main Street to the Post Office and back to CNB 's 2nd floor conference room.
