Please join the Friends of Calais for the 4th Annual Halloween Spooktacular! Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the East Calais Rec Field - 4997 VT-14, East Calais.

This event is much like a trunk-or-treat, but the cars are in the parking lot and the trick-or-treat stations are safely on the East Calais Rec Field.

Please consider creating a station for our younger community members to enjoy. They will be thrilled with a candy/fun treat hand-out or an all-out haunted VW bus and everything in between.

For inspiration, some of the stations from past years included toilet paper mummies, face painting, Madam Moon, witch hat ring toss, eyeball spoon races, slimy buckets of chance, pin the skull on the skeleton, a costume contest, birthday bash and Thriller dance. Please just be creative and have some fun. If you need the Friends of Calais to provide a table and/or a pop-up tent to help your ideas come to life, please email friendsofcalais2020@gmail.com. If creating a station isn't your cup of tea, you can just hand out treats. We hope everyone will participate in a way that works best for them.

Costumes – for kids of all ages – are highly encouraged! All we ask is that you "manage" candy bowls. Our little goblins and ghouls are opportunists!
