As the days shorten and it becomes cooler, have you thought how you will:
--Keep your joints flexible, maintain a good range of motion, and reduce stiffness in your joints
--Keep yourself balanced and free from falls
--Keep challenging your cognitive abilities
The Haston Library in Franklin is sponsoring a free Tai Chi for Seniors Class. It's an evidence-based health program that will improve your flexibility, reduce stiffness and inflammation as you keep moving and lubricating your joints. Tai Chi is endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation and the CDC as a Falls Prevention Program that is proven to be safe and effective. Studies have shown that Tai Chi movements will enhance your mind/body cognitive abilities.
Please join Nilah Cote on Tuesday and Thursday at the Franklin Town Hall from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Nilah is a certified trained instructor sponsored by the Age Well organization.
