Hi Friends -

Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) is having it's annual harvest dinner on Thursday of next week. This dinner celebrates the Farm at VYCC's many accomplishments. This year, more than 70 young adults worked and learned together as they grew food for VYCC's Health Care Share.

The Health Care Share is a food security initiative; it's the largest prescription vegetable program in the state. In this model, our Corps Members grow food which is then distributed to Vermonters who are struggling with food security and/or diet related illness. Over 480 families received weekly shares this year.
