It's CROP Walk time again! The 49th annual Addison County CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, October 6. Registration will open at 12:00 noon on the Middlebury town green, with walking group "team photos" at 12:30. The two-mile walk through town will begin at 1:00. All are welcome and encouraged to participate this year. Here's how you can be involved:
1. Be a part of this year's CROP Walk. Individuals and teams of walkers can register on the Addison County CROP Hunger Walk page: https://events.crophungerwalk.org/cropwalks/event/middleburyvt
2. Share the link above with family and friends and invite them to donate early and often!
3. If you or others would like to use old-school CROP Walk envelopes to collect donations, they will be available for pick-up at The Congregational Church of Middlebury, 30 North Pleasant Street, from 9:00-noon.
4. Help spread the word about the upcoming walk!
With funds raised through CROP Walk, Church World Service (CWS) is able to work with their partner agencies around the world to alleviate human suffering and to respond quickly in the wake of natural disasters. And, alongside this far-reaching support, one-quarter of the funds raised by our CROP Hunger Walk will be directed to local organizations in Addison County. CROP Walk is an important means of funding essential services to our most vulnerable neighbors, near and far. Let's keep this going! See you on the Green on the 6th!
