If you have been wanting to hone your skills with stand-up comedy or try an open mic night, don't miss this opportunity to learn from a pro. Saturday, October 12th, Comic and Workshop Leader Denise McCarty will cover the elements of comedy and timing. You'll get a chance to write your own material and jokes, and share with the group in a safe, non-judgmental space. Register for this fun, inspiring and unforgettable time with Denise and be prepared to laugh! About Denise: Denise McCarty is Vermont's only Korean stand-up comic. She has been performing stand-up comedy in Vermont and New Hampshire for over a decade. She has performed at the Lebanon Opera House, Flynn Space, Vermont Comedy Club, and various open mics throughout the state and was the co-host of the monthly comedy open mic at Twiggs in St Albans. When not laughing, Denise resides in Moretown with her dog and likes to play ukulele and spend time outdoors.
