Everyone is invited to join the board, friends and supporters of the Northeast Kingdom Asylum Seekers Assistance Network (NEKASAN) at our 2nd Annual International Food Festival on Saturday, October 12, from 11 am - 1 pm! This year, we are very happy to be holding the event at the site of what will soon be the new Caledonia Food Co-op on Railroad Street in St. Johnsbury (the old Walgreen's building.) Like last year, attendees will be treated to tastes of cuisines from around the globe, all prepared with love and care by NEK neighbors with origins or ancestry in places as distant as Benin, Venezuela, Liberia, Ireland, Uganda, Lebanon, Mexico, Thailand, and beyond. Kids are welcome and there will be children's activities to entertain. Come meet new friends and neighbors and learn about what NEKASAN does, all while enjoying delicious dishes from around the world. $10 donation requested.
