The Champlain Philharmonic will be presenting its Fall Concert Series, "Gather Round the Fire" at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury on Saturday, October 12th at 7:30pm and at Grace Congregational Church in Rutland on Sunday, October 13th at 4pm.

The orchestra will welcome a special guest, Cricket Blue, to the stage for a special evening of music. NPR Music calls Laura Heaberlin and Taylor Smith of Cricket Blue "master storytellers", and the All Scene Eye says Cricket Blue "sets a new standard for fiction-folk."

The program will also include music by Eric Whitacre, Lili Boulanger, Dimitri Shostakovich and the Harry Potter Symphonic Suite by John Williams.
