The People vs. Big Oil: How Local Democracy Stood Up to the Fossil Fuel Industry

Come join a presentation about how people from Portland, Maine stood up to prevent tar sands oil coming through their communities. 350 Maine's Bob Klotz and Protect South Portland's Eben Rose will share their challenging but ultimately successful experiences.

This event is the Addison County stop of The People vs. Big Oil speaking tour. Co-hosted by Just Power, the event will begin with an update of recent developments in the campaign to stop the Vermont fracked gas pipeline.
