POLLINATOR GARDEN WORKDAY
SATURDAY, October 5, 10-12

Come and help the Friends of the Horticulture Farm put our pollinator garden to bed for winter and learn how to prepare your own gardens for the coming cold months.  You'll learn about cleanup tasks to do, how to divide and transplant perennials, what plants to leave standing for wildlife, and what to mulch.  Bring your gloves and a tarp or weeding bucket.   FREE EMG-V

Join horticulturist and Hort Farm Conifer Curator Paul Wieczoreck to discuss these and other questions on a tour of the Conifer Collection. You'll spend the morning looking at the variety of colors, textures and architectural forms this diverse group of plants has to offer, especially during the long winter months. Dress for the weather. Members FREE, Non-members $10 EMG-E
