Join us at Lamoille Union High School on Monday, October 28th, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm for a family-friendly evening focused on school safety. This exciting evening will give you and your family a chance to meet our local first responders, and explore their vehicles up close, and to hear about Lamoille North's school safety efforts from our school counselors, safety teams, and our community partners.

In addition to the hands-on 'touch-a-truck' fun, we invite you to attend a special presentation highlighting Lamoille North's ongoing school safety efforts. Learn more about how we are working to create an environment of belonging and safety across our schools, ensuring that every student and staff member feels welcomed and supported.

The evening includes a Touch-a-Truck session featuring members from our local EMS and Law Enforcement partners. We'll also have tables featuring members of our community partner organizations who play a vital role across our school district. Our Lamoille North School Nutrition Team will grill burgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs.

After the Touch-A-Truck and food conclude, roughly 6:00 p.m., guests will be asked to head into the Lamoille Union Auditorium for a School safety presentation from Lamoille North's district safety coordinators, counselors, and community partners. We will also discuss your role in school safety as a community member.

Our Lamoille Union High School Volunteer Committee will provide childcare to children ages ten and under during the school safety discussion and Q&A (roughly 6:00-7:30), just across the hall from the LU Auditorium. This group will be supported by our Lamoille North Afterschool Program Coordinator.
