Climate Cafe - Hurricane Helene and Beyond
Friday, October 4, 10:30am-12:00pm, Kellogg-Hubbard Library, Hayes Room
Climate Cafes offer a structured space for facilitated, informal, open, and respectful discussion of emotional responses and reactions related to the climate. The recent catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Helene is a reminder of how vulnerable we are as the climate crisis unfolds in real time. When we can share with others in community, we become better able to manage these complex emotions.
Facilitator: Susan Atwood, LCMHC, Member Climate Psychology Alliance of North America (CPA-NA)
Limited to 15 participants.
To sign up email Susan at atwoodcounseling@mytholm.com by Friday morning.
There will be more scheduled gatherings if this is full or you can't make this date.
Note: The library sadly is not a cafe. BYOB water or coffee or tea as needed.
