Hey! I'm posting for my good friends Matt Martin of High Hopes Design and Tony Joyce of Magic Hand Signs, who are holding an OPEN STUDIO event at their shop at 51A Minister Brook Road in Worcester THIS SATURDAY and SUNDAY, October 5th-6th.
You've probably seen Matt and Tony's work featured in some of our local Montpelier businesses. Matt Martin of High Hopes Design is a professionally trained woodworker, metalworker, and fabricator. Together with James Smyth of Smyth Metalworks, he contributed to post-flood build-outs and finish work at Positive Pie and Roam and built record crates for Buch Spieler. Matt's also a talented photographer -- his atmospheric film photography has been shown at Carrier Roasting Co. and J. Langdon Antiques and Art.
Tony Joyce of Magic Hand Signs is a professionally trained sign painter. He just finished up the new hand-painted lettering at Buch Spieler Records, and you'll be seeing more of his work gracing local businesses soon!
Matt and Tony will be showing their work, giving tours of their studios and offering hand painted signs, photo prints, and furniture for sale THIS SATURDAY and SUNDAY from 10am-6pm. Their studio can be found just past Worcester village on Minister Brook Road, and after popping in, you can drive the length of Minister Brook for the most stunning view of the Worcester range this time of year. Look forward to seeing you there!
