The Middlebury Maple Run is coming up this SUNDAY, October 6, 2024!

We're excited to announce that we're expecting around 400 runners at this year's Middlebury Maple Run, taking part in 1/2 marathon, 10K and 5K courses beginning and ending at the Porter Hospital/MREMS parking lot at 9am.

The 1/2 marathon course begins down South Street, which will be temporarily closed to traffic at 9am to allow the racers to safely spread out on the course. Traffic around the intersection with South Street and Main Street as well as crossing College Street may be held to allow for runners to proceed. The course continues west on Weybridge Street and turns right onto Pulp Mill Bridge Rd, then continues to Morgan Horse Farm Rd to Hamilton Rd. Runners will turn left from Hamilton Rd to Sheep Farm Rd, then left again back onto Weybridge Rd to Freeman Way, where the course proceeds through campus and onto the TAM. Runners will return to South Street Extension, where they will continue South to Morse Rd, where they will turn around and return to the finish. Roadways along the course will mostly remain open, but we ask drivers to exercise caution if you plan to drive these roads, or plan alternate routes.

Registration is still open for runners in all events! We also offer in person registration at race packet pickup on Saturday from 4-6 at the MREMS building and on race-day beginning at 7:30 on Sunday at MREMS.

We also still have a few volunteer positions available, if you'd like to be a part of this awesome event.

The Middlebury Maple Run is hosted by the Addison Independent and is a benefit event for your local newspaper. Proceeds from this year's race will also be donated to expansion efforts at Ilsley Library as well as to our friends at Middlebury Regional EMS.
