INVITATION TO SEE "THE QUIETEST YEAR" — a film on noise in Vermont. The 75-minute documentary will be shown on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First UU Society at the top of Church St (152 Pearl St). Vermont filmmaker, Karen Akins, will be there, as will a few others, to take your questions after the film. The film addresses common residential noises in Vermont (and elsewhere), and their impact on our physical and mental health. The film covers motorcycles, trucks, gas-powered leaf blowers, cars, guns, planes…and the F-35! Admission is free.
