Matt Cota owns Meadow Hill, a Montpelier-based trade association management company focused on energy policy. Cota serves on the Public Utility Commission's Clean Heat Technical Advisory Group and was recently appointed to the Vermont Climate Council. A former City Councilor in South Burlington, Cota also teaches at the Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont.
