A Bridge Across Our Two Vermonts with Will Eberle

Past event

Vermont is not immune to issues like addiction, housing insecurity, and poverty. These overlapping problems have strained resources across the state in recent years and can divide communities as they struggle to find solutions.

The Jeudevine Memorial Library welcomes Recovery Vermont Executive Director Will Eberle, who will explore how to overcome bias and stigma and improve the health, happiness, and sense of belonging of all Vermonters on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 6:30 PM, at the Community/Senior Center at 56 High Street in Hardwick.

Will trains, consults, speaks, and informs policy on trauma, homelessness, mental health and addiction recovery, supported employment, equity, and educational access nationally. He is the Executive Director of Recovery Vermont/The Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery – Vermont's oldest and largest recovery organization.

For more information, please contact the library at 802-472-5948. The Vermont Humanities generously supports this program in conjunction with the Vermont Reads 2024 book Gather by Ken Cadow. It is presented in partnership with the Hardwick Equity Committee and the Hardwick Area Food Pantry.
