Please join us for this opening celebration for the Black River Table at the Genny Albany. The Black River Table is the final component of the public arts space funded by a grant from the Vermont Arts Council. This installation was designed by lead artist Theresa Peura and created by local carpenter and blacksmith Brian Naylor to make a unique and welcoming place for friends, family, and neighbors to sit together along the banks of the Black River and McLeary Brook.
There will be cider and donuts! While at the Genny please take time to check out the two other components of this project: the crankie storyhouse on the Genny Porch, and the storyquilt squares created last spring by the 6th grade at the Albany Community School.
