Taught by Kara Rosa, a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. This series will emphasize a healthy stable posture. Over the series we will examine posture starting from the base, feet, working our way up to the neck and head. Through yoga asana (postures) participants will begin to gain the stability, mobility and awareness required for a healthy alignment. This practice can support joints and pain management.
The Iyengar lineage is oriented toward gradual but steady progress making this practice accessible to all bodies and abilities. Iyengar Yoga is a practice beneficial to support physical, mental and spiritual health throughout life. This practice will be gentle and appropriate for all levels, ages and beginners.
