Navigating the Waters: Understanding Vermont's Three-Acre Permit

The Northwest Regional Planning Commission is pleased to announce it will be hosting an information session on the State of Vermont's "Three-Acre Permit" and its implications for property owners.

The information session will take place on September 30, 2024, starting at 7pm, at the St. Albans Town Office, which is located at 398 Georgia Shore Rd, St. Albans Bay.

Attendees will learn what is needed to navigate the permitting process. The session will also provide a platform for dialogue and expert insights on the permit's requirements and how they impact you. The meeting will feature:

Expert Panel- representatives from the State of VT, licensed engineers, and others.

Presentations- purpose of the permit, application process, and compliance requirements.

Open Q&A- Get answers to questions.

Resource Materials- Learn how to access resources to help you understand and comply with the Permit.
