Winter Survival and Adaptations with Carrie Riker

Past event
Dec 6, 2014, 10:30 to 11:30 AM

Carrie Riker from the Lamoille Nature Center will present "Winter Survival and Adaptations"
At Johnson Public Library
Saturday December 6, 2014 from 10:30 – 11:30
All ages.

Some animals tunnel through the snow, others bound across the surface and a select few sleep the winter away in protected shelters. Children will take a close look at these techniques through a puppet show, stories, and games to learn how Vermont’s wildlife survive through the winter.

Come join us for this great program.
