As you may or may not have heard, there was a proposal at the recent School Board Meeting, that includes turning the STAR building at NES/NMHS into a Sustainability Academy where outdoor ed/place-based ed/climate change/sustainability science would be the academic focus for all grades. This concept is only at the incubation phase, an idea that is gaining traction. All voices should be a part of a potential and incredible academic growth opportunity for Northfield.
