We aren't going to solve national immigration policy here in Charlotte. But we can educate ourselves on the humanitarian responses happening both at the southern border and in our own backyard. Join us for a conversation with a local farm worker and Madeline Sharrow from Migrant Justice, a Vermont-based human rights organization that has transformed the lives of the immigrant and farmworker community. Also discussing will be Charlotte resident Steve Hill who volunteers to provide humanitarian aid at the southern border with No Mas Muertes (No More Deaths).
Please come with your own questions, experiences and open hearts to participate in a conversation and learn some options for participating.
