Come to the Vermont Granite Museum for a FREE presentation by Professor Marjory Harper on the granite workers of Aberdeen, Scotland, and their impact on the industry in Barre and across North America!
Marjory Harper is Professor of History at the University of Aberdeen and has published around 100 articles and book chapters centering on Scottish emigration. Her lecture will focus on the origins and mechanisms of the movement from Scotland, as well as the experiences of its participants.
