Is anyone else trying to soak up as much of this beautiful fall weather as possible?! If so, we have an invitation for you!
Come join the Hardwick Farmers Market and Center for an Agricultural Economy for a Harvest Festival this Friday (9/27) from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Atkins Field! It'll be an afternoon of fall fun to celebrate the season's abundance and NEK's vibrant agricultural community!
Activities include:
- Baby goat meet & greet!
- Fresh pressed cider tasting (please bring extra apples if you can!)
- Local food tasting: Sample tasty treats from our fabulous market vendors
- T-shirt screen printing from 3:30pm - 5:00pm (Bring your own t-shirt to get printed with a limited edition design to celebrate the Center for an Agricultural Economy's 20th Anniversary!)
- Block printing with Rural Vermont from 4:30-6:00pm (Materials will be provided.)
- Seasonal cocktails for sale from St. Johnsbury Distillery
- Kids activities (including free face painting!)
- Music by Barry Hayes
We only have THREE more market dates this year: 9/27, 10/4 & 10/11 (which will also be a Celebration of Indigenous Peoples & Culture - Stay tuned for more details on that coming soon.)
Now is a great time to stock up your fridge, pantry, and freezer with local goodies! You can get all of the staples: Veggies, eggs, meat, bread, maple, honey, preserves, pickles, tea, spirits, & body care products! We'll also have some great prepared food options available for dinner!
We hope you'll join us & we'll see you at the market!
