MIGRANT JUSTICE ISSUES in VERMONT and BEYOND
Tuesday, October 1
6-7 PM at the Charlotte Library
Snacks provided!
JOIN US for a conversation with a local farm worker and Madeline Sharrow from Migrant Justice, a Vermont-based human rights organization that has transformed the lives of the immigrant and farmworker community. Charlotte resident Steve Hill is a volunteer providing humanitarian aid at the southern border with No Mas Muertes (No More Deaths), and he'll be with us as well.
We aren't going to solve national immigration policy here in our little towns, but we can educate ourselves on the humanitarian responses happening both at the southern border and in our own backyards.
PLEASE COME with your own questions, experiences, and open hearts to participate in a conversation and learn some options for participating.
