Gallery Tour: "1874, A Significant Year"
Join Jock Brooks, retired associate director of the Clark, for a gallery tour, "1874, A Significant Year." The tour will explore works of art made in or around 1874, the year of the first Impressionist exhibition in Paris and the year the Williamstown Public Library was founded. The tour, part of the celebration of the Milne Public Library's 150th anniversary year, will take place on Saturday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m., at the Clark Art Institute, 225 South Street in Williamstown. Free with museum admission. Meet at the museum pavilion.
The events and programs of the Milne Public Library's 150th anniversary are made possible through generous funding by local sponsor MountainOne, your local Berkshires bank.
