Plainfield ER E24-2(610) [Plainfield Slope Stabilization Project]

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: The portion of U.S. 2 from approximately 0.2 miles west of the intersection with VT 214 and continuing west for approximately 1/3 of a mile, mile marker 0.4 to mile marker 0.7, in Plainfield, remains closed for all traffic. The detour will utilize VT 214 and Vermont Route 14 (VT 14).

Motorists should plan accordingly and seek alternative routes. This portion of U.S. 2 is anticipated to reopen on Monday, September 30.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Next week, crews will continue installing steel sheet piles and grouted soil nails.
